All Glories to Srila Prabhupada In service of vaishnavas, we are writing report of Vyasa-puja celebrations of your divine grace which was celebrated at ISKCON Delhi auditorium east of kailash on 10th Aug., 2011. Vyasa-Puja is the most auspicious day on which a disciple glorifies his Spiritual Master. Glorification of pure devotees purifies existence of conditioned souls like us and is also very pleasing to Lord Krishna. Glorifying and listening to the glorification of your holiness, purifies our heart.

Lalit Madhava prabhu was very enthusiastic for organizing this grand celebration of Vyasa-Puja Festival. In cooperation with Delhi temple the festival was organized under guidance and blessings of senior devotees. Especially HG Mohan Rupa Prabhu and HG Sadhu Hriday Prabhu were very helpful.

Programme started at around 9:30 am by melodious kirtan led by HG Deen nayak prabhuji. Opening speech and offerings was given by HG Vrajendra Nandan prabhu, who is serving as communication minister. Then programme continued further by heartfelt offerings of many senior devotees: HG Mohanrupa Prabhuji (President ISKCON- EOK Temple), HG Jitamitra prabhuji, HG Krishnapriya prabhuji, HG Rukmni krishna prabhuji, HG Deen nayak Prabhuji, HG Sundergopal Prabhuji (Director, IYF),HG Yadu Kuleshwar Prabhuji, HG Radha Damodar Prabhuji, HG Dhananjay DFas Prabhuji, HG Jayananda Prabhuji. Many senior devotees explained the meaning of Vyasa-puja and its importance in Gaudiya-vaishnava sampradaya. Devotees also shared their personal interactions with your divine grace It was really very enlightening and touching to heart.

HG Mohanrupa prabhuji explained and stressed on importance of instructions of Spiritual Master, following the instructions will only please Guru and Krishna. After offerings, Bhoga offering was done. There were more than 200 items along with 11 cakes (Very Big and small). There was a special role play of Lord Krishna by HG Adiyogi Prabhuji who is director of Drama group – “Vaikuntha Players”. Programme ended with Pushpanjali prayers led by HG Jitamitra prabhuji. Then there was Maha-arati followed by melodious Hare Krishna kirtan. And last but not the least, there was a sumptuous feast organized for all devotees attending the Vyasa-puja celebration. Gurudeva! By Blessings of your holiness and all vaishnavas, we could successfully conduct Vyasa-puja celebrations in Delhi. We need your blessings so that we can celebrate it every year on a grand scale and with more enthusiasm.
