Also, at this juncture requesting your Vyasa Puja offerings for inclusion in the Vyasa Puja book if
not sent already. Submission deadline was 25th July.
Please ensure your offerings are submitted by close of business on Friday 29th July to allow for

THE PETITION:
To: Ian Fytche, Chief Executive of North Kesteven District Council and North Kesteven District Council Planning Committee
Please don't let plans for 'mega-dairies' go ahead in Lincolnshire.
These farms would make a big contribution to climate change and undermine more responsible, sustainable cattle farms in Lincolnshire and the rest of the UK.
Keeping cows inside almost all year is cruel and there is evidence that cows kept in factory farms suffer as a result.
Please do all you can to stop these mega-dairy style farms being built in Lincolnshire.

“During the 2002 GBC meetings in Mayapur, India—just three days before he passed away—Tamal Krishna Maharaja asked me to go to Fiji and help his disciples,”
says ISKCON Sigatoka project coordinator Vedavyasapriya Swami. “So I was traveling around Fiji with my Radha Shyamasundara deities, when I met Gurusmarna and Gitakirti in 2003.”
The two devotees enthusiastically discussed Radha Krishna worship with Vedavyasapriya Swami. Soon after the meeting—as if by Lord Krishna’s arrangement—their godbrother Nandavraja
Dasa, who was moving to New Zealand, entrusted his Radha-Damodara Deities to them. Charmed by Their Lordships, Gurusmarna and Gitakirti began to plan the construction of a temple
for Them, in memory of their spiritual master Tamal Krishna Goswami.

“Keeping the approved design, I also made some external changes that would appeal to tourists, and familiarize them with Srila Prabhupada’s teachings and the practical application of Krishna consciousness in fields such as architecture, medicine, and culinary arts,” says Vedavyasapriya Swami. “I also planned to reach out to the poor and needy of Fiji, by providing free Prasadam—a service much appreciated by the Fijian Government.”

Disciples of His Holiness Vedavyasapriya Swami Maharaj humbly make an apology seeking forgiveness for a correction regarding the 66th Vyasa Puja Offering book of His Holiness Vedavyasapriya Swami. On the front cover the title 'His Divine Grace' was incorrectly used for His Holiness Vedavyasapriya Swami - the title 'His Divine Grace is exclusively reserved for His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
Also the title 'Sri' was incorrectly used infront of A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Disciples of HH Vedavyasapriya Swami are kindly reminded to use the correct titles in future for addressing Srila Prabhupada and Maharaj.

Our God family at Ludhiana spent 2 splendid days with Gurudev from 8th-9th May.
Gurudev came from Chandigarh with Krishnakripanidhi Prabhuji and his family nearly at 12:30 pm.
We all were waiting at Uttara Mataji's place. Gurudev came in and due to His transcendental presence an ambience filled the room
and became purely blissful...

Maharaj's lectured on Chapter 4 Text 32,33 of Srimad Bhagavad Gita in Sri Dham Vrindavan at Srila Prabhupada House.
The lecture was about the importance of serving Krishna. Maharaj explained different kind of sacrifices that people used to do in previous Yugas. He also explained the different kind of yajnas that are performed by different people for
different purposes(some for Demigods, some for welfare of local people and others for fulfilling our own desires).

Baa recovering from critical condition.

2010-June-28.
Baa (Mother of HH Vedavyasapriya Swami) is now back at home (at her Daughter's place),
she is much better after the Blood transfusion. She is under constant supervision by
her daughters, son and grand children.
Thank you all for the prayers you have offered which has resulted in the improvement
of her condition. Please continue praying as she is still sick.

My dear disciples, well wishers, and friends,
Please accept my blessings. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
I would like to express my gratitude to all of you for all the individual
services that you have rendered over the years. This year, I would like to encourage all of you to perform an additional service together - World Holy Name Week.
krsna varnam tvisakrsnam
sangopangastra parsadam
yajnaih sankirtana prayair
yajante hi sumedasa
In the age of Kali, intelligent persons perform congregational chanting to
worship the incarnation of Godhead who constantly sings the names of
Krishna. Although His complexion is not blackish, He is Krishna Himself. He is accompanied by His associates, servants, weapons and confidential
companions. (SB 11.5.32)
Srila Prabhupada's greatest desire was to spread the chanting of the Holy
Names all over the world. To fulfill this desire, the GBC established World Holy Name Day during Srila Prabupada Centennial in 1996. Taking charge of the program at that time, was my beloved friend and godbrother, H.H. Bhakti Tirtha Swami. World Holy Name Day, was a tremendous success.
I would like to request all of my disciples, friends, and well-wishers to
join hands with their local ISKCON centers to celebrate World Holy Name Week 2009 to their maximum capacity.
World Holy Name Week 2009 is from September 2 - September 11th. Your planning of your participation should start NOW!

World Holy Name Week around the world. Depending on your capacity, you
could be an organizer on three different levels:
1. Continental / Country Organizer
2. Regional Organizer (Overseeing two or more centers)
3. Local Organizer (Helping to organize your local ISKCON center or
namahatta)
Please plan to participate in World Holy Name Week 2009, and reply to me and also add the WHNW global coordination team at kirtan@krishna.com as CCreceivers of your reply.
